Its a sad sight.  Hopefully they get the problem fixed and fill it back up asap.  Did you see any fish laying around?

LOL, nope, didnt walk out on it. Probably be able too in a couple days. There were some dry spots already. No doubt a lot of treasures to be found if you're willing to look.

What is the cause of that lake drying up? Looks like it was a nice body of water.

PA has a lot of old state parks that have dam's that
need to be replaced so the fish commission drains the lake and
waits about ten years to replace the dam , then by that time the
lake bottom is a forest. Welcome to PA

The problem is all the money that DCNR gets to maintain
the State Parks get taken away by other members of Government
who can't manage there budget , So whatever's left go to fix the
Damn that's why it takes 10 years  :o

Just saw Lake Jean on the news this morning. It's empty. Supposedly it will be filled up and fully stocked by next summer...  riiiiiiight. I was up at Brady's lake last weekend. Another repaired dam. It's a great place to ride yer bike or go kayaking but don't waste too much money on bait  ::)

It took them 5 years to fix Gouldsboro State Park
and another 10 years for the fish to get to a catchable size  :o

Now would be a good time for them to add some structure out in the lake.  There doesn't seem to be much there.

They could use the concrete they remove for some good structure. Save on trucking costs....
