Title: The Pack water level
Post by: bent rod on August 26, 2015, 05:08:38 AM
I understand that they do a drawdown at the Pack each year for flood prevention.  Does it ever get too low to use the State ramp?  I heard that every few years they lower it more than normal to do repairs to the dam.

Here is the link for the lake levels. http://ppllakewallenpaupack.com/lake-levels/
Right now is about where it should be for this time of the year, maybe a little high. Major draw downs are announced on the site. It has to go below 1175 before the ramp gets iffy. Most bad spots on the lake are marked with buoys.
