Thanks for the photos Chez,  that 2nd one looks very colorful.  I think it all depends on how the light hits them, they can look more colorful, like an impressionistic painting by Monet or Degas.  They are nature's perfect creature, adaptable and feisty. 

I think the reason I like fishing for them is that you have to usually go off the beaten path and explore waters that few people have seen.  It's nice to see they are thriving in that stretch, I've caught a few in the upper Lehigh.  Did you get any wild browns?

No native browns bro.
I have a creek up by Snowhill,loaded with them.

Beautiful fish man......the colors are amazing and the red tail w stripes is also........great catch and pics chez........
