Hey perch I don't know about NY but I did stay at a great park in Virginia. A few years ago we stayed at Pohick Bay Regional Park in the cabins. Everything was very clean and well kept there was a lot to do for the kids and it is right on the Patomic river. Lots of big catfish. It is also very close to Washington DC so if you want something different for the day it is easy to take a ride.

Zziipp there were I think 8 cabins on the road 4 on each side. I would guess the road to be 100 yards long. While we were there they were building 2 new cabins that are larger then these and a little more secluded.

They are blue cats. I think the year prior to us going the Md state record was caught not far from the launch we were at its was 98lbs.

The trip was great tons to do in the park. They had their own water park, golf course, mini golf, boat launch right in the park. We took one day to go into DC only 10 min drive to train station.

Both Wellsley Island and Kring Point have cabins. Each have a decent beach and playground for the kids. Wellsley's playground is brand new and it is the best I have ever seen.
