Any one been out helping the PFBC stock the cricks?  I used to go help quite often back when I was in college but haven't had time in the last 10 years or so.  Always had a good time and tried to take some buckets to holes away from the bridges as much as possible.  Plus you know where all the breeders were stocked too  8)

We allways help stock the second stocking at SNOW HILL Dam,last year they told us where we had to put the buckets. All 800,trout went into one small area.
They can stock it theirselves this year,we will watch and drink beer.Everything  seems to be a power trip with the fish LAWDOGS.I had it out with one last Saturday because I was not wearing my fishing lic, walking off the lake.IT WAS ON MY HAT IN MY BUCKET,i walk off the ice with a lighter hat.pluss I was walking at the time, not fishing.
I only use the stockies for there heads for catfish bait.
I fish the DELEWARE and the big dams in ny for trout.99% of those trout I set back unharmed, unless they are hurt to where they wont make it.I enjoy catching those big trout,NEMO and HD,can tell you about that.
Good Luck,Have fun if you get out to stock.

I want to make some trips to the Delaware this year.  I have never fished the upper part of it.  Looks like it holds a lot of real nice fish from what I've seen and read.  I'll probably hit the Lehigh again this year too.

Depends on the dams in NY,If there still frozen and unspoonable we hit the BIG D for thr first Saturday in APRIL,If the dams are open I like to throw spoons mostly at the dams.
I do better on the BID D starting in MAY.Bad thing that happens ,May starts the panfish bite also.I try to do both, but the older im getting the harder it is to do both.
I catch trout all year on the DELAWARE,JUst gotta know where to go at what time of the year.Trial and ERROR.
I bait fish the BIG D,REDWORMS,STONE MYTHS,CORN and BASS BUGGS.

I remember that day mark,we threw a few back that day,and not fish, lol.
ALLWAYS a good time, you didn't make the second trip last year but you were there for the opener.APPLE PIE MOONSHINE was good.
I don't think im even takeing a pole this year.
ALTHOUGH I can use the trout heads for CAT BAIT.
Hope you can make one of the stockings.
