Stocked Merli today, went up after work. Fished an hour & caught about 15...kept 5.
Nice trout all about 11"-12". Got them on lures.

Susky - The easiest way for me to explain it would be to google it. The correct name is Merli-Sarnoski Park. It is just past Carbondale, if you took route 106 & turned left at homestead golf coarse the road is right there. County owned park, nice facilities.

Besides stocked trout it has nice bass & panfish, nice calicos although I could never catch many there. Also has good bullhead fishing but they close the gate at dark which ends the bullhead fishing.

Thanks for the info bktail. Now that you have said the full name I have heard of it.  I have never been much for trout fishing in impoundments but with the success you guys have been having I may have to give some lakes a second look.
