Stocking UP.
« on: March 13, 2015, 09:48:45 AM »
We made a trip to Wacky Worm last week to stock up on soft plastics and hooks for pouring jigs.
Lou is a great guy full if information.

I have bee pouring tube jigs, round head jigs, bucktail jigs, and some other funky stuff.
Painting and trying will start this weekend.

looks like we have some tackle crafters on the site :). I make my own hand tied jigs from panfish and trout size up to bass size. I've  just begun to toy around with making my own inline spinners. We'll have to get together in a few months and have a tackle swap. :D :D

Tackle craft sounds interesting. I was recently thinking of trying to craft some top water plugs. It would be cool to see some pics of the stuff you guys make.

Very nice jigs!  You have got a talent sir.  Looks like you will hammer the pannies with them.

Thanks for the compliments guys :)! I really enjoy making my own jigs and it's quite relaxing to sit at the vise and come up with different  patterns, there's no limit to one's imagination. All I need is some open water to see which patters work  :(

I put a thread or forum suggestion in the suggestion area that this topic would be perfect for under.

MarkD if I was a steelhead I would hit that....  Good stuff.

FF. I was thinking steelies and trout when I saw your stuff also.  Those will kill the pannies and craps for sure.
