hit the crick today. was out of the magnet heads.so i dug into the lil ice jig box and pulled out some wades blades white heads and put the magnet bodies on them and crushed them.landed about 30 trout in a lil over 3 hrs. the fly guys were having a hard time getting hits.the fish were mostly hugging the bottom and only seen a couple take top side bait.heres a couple pics.

Great job on the brookies man.  The Crick I was on the water is still like ice so there wasn't much bug action today.  Great photos thanks for posting.

I knew those Wades Blades would come in handy, nice rigging, nice trouts.

I haven't been using anything but slow bottom drifting wooly buggers, nothing much else has  been working.

thanks guys. it was chilly and windy in the morning. was gonna hit a lake but the cricks you can escape some of that wind. i always like a lil variety in the box. its not the first time ice jigs saved my day on a crick.first time ive used wades blades though and not the last. actually they made the presentation nice.and hd the guy accross form me swithed over and started drifting bottom and he landed some trout. the guys above us stayed on top and i only seen them land 1 fish.
