Got a late start yesterday. Fished the afternoon 2:30-6:45. 1 smaller striper. 3 bass. Stripe 1 bass on a jerkbait, 2 bass on a jig.
Seem to be having trouble with PB today. It took 3 tries to get this pic up and the others arent working. Maybe later.

Thanks. May 19th it will be game on. You wont need a boat, just the willingness to go at night. The fingerlings are going in that day. Fishing will be good right at the state launch. Any stickbait will get them. Some guys I know dont even start the big motor, just trolling motor around the cove casting at then.

The fingerlings usually go in the Thursday or Friday before memorial day every year.

Brown trout. They stock a ton of fingerlings every year. They go in at the state launch. It pulls a lot of fish in there. Stripers, walleyes come in every night to feed on them. The alewives will be starting to spawn around that time too. I've seen a lot of nice fish caught from shore around there at that time.

That sounds like the place to be at that time of year. Does the pac produce any BIG browns?
