Lake Carey 5/9

We hit Carey today. First time in 3 years. I dont know why I skip it in the spring, always something to catch there. Pannies didn't want to play. Gave the gills an hour but nothing. 2 other boats weren't doing well for then either. No matter, the walleyes came out to play. We got 4 keeper eyes 16" to almost 22", about 8 bass, and 3 calicos.

Nice job on the eyes.  They can be tricky at times at Carey.  I heard at work the other days the pannies where turning on there but that was hear say.  I do know in ice season guys never got on the pannies there.  Nice catch and photos.

 Thanks. I dont know where the gill went lol. I even went way back in the shallows, kicking up mud with the trolling motor, Did see any.
