Fishing Weather
« on: June 08, 2015, 05:05:17 PM »
I just came in from Frances Slocum SP. Was trying to get a bucket of small fry bluegills. They weren't doing much at the Handicapped Dock so I went over to the boat rental side. caught one after another for 3 minutes while the storm advanced over the hill. Very cool sight watching the wind whip the water. Gonna work on a bluegill trap and a stone cattie trap tonight.

It looks like we are in for some more rain over the next week.  Should keep the flows up.  I know the cricks up this way were really running low.  Hopefully it will benefit our season before the dog days of summer  really set in.
