Antlerless Permits 7/13
« on: July 10, 2015, 06:56:59 AM »
Antlerless Permits on this Monday 7/13. I usually mail today because all mail is routed to Allentown first and then back to the Scranton area. That makes sense...NOT.  8)

I pay an extra $5 and just get a DMAP permit for Hickory Run State Park.

The doe in Hickory Run State Park are extra flavorful - from the mini marshmellows and other city delicacies the tourists feed them up to legal hunting season.

I'm not really into deer hunting.
I'm not looking for adventure or the challenge of matching wits with a slammer buck.

Just give me a dumb doe, used to seeing people around, and I wll make sure that I say grace before I cut into that first doe steak via hollow point..  ;D

I prefer core locks. :)
I seen hollow points break apart and be bits in the meat. :'(

cant eat the rack. theres trophy hunters and meat hunters. i look for a decent sized freezer filler. ive taken some bucks. not monster racks but nice body size. i hunt all public land and most big bucks go nocturnal or stay on the unhunted private land.i love archery.gotta break in the new bow this yr.cant wait. archery is like christmas to me and than ice season is right around the corner.

I agree with you guys,Sausage in the pan is better than a dust collector on the wall.
I have a room full of dust collectors.
I only got a little deer left out of 4 deer between me and my boys.
Freezer is getting VERY LOW :'( :'( :'(
Come on BOW SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!

How was that stiper eating Zziipp?
I had it once or twice and didnt care for it.And i like most fish.
Seemed oilly to me.
I did it once in the oven broiled with butter and lemon.
Once on the grill same way but wrspped in foil.
I throw them back or give them away. :)
