Another Banner Ice-fishing Season?

Just saw the Farmer's Almanac prediction is out for this winter: Cold and Snowy! Hope they're right!

that was the "Old Farmers Almanac" The Farmers Almanac comes out next week I think. The are calling for a lot of cold and snow. I hope we don't get so much snow but I'm ready for the cold

Bring the cold.....I could do without the snow as well. Last season here in NY was rough going with the amounts of snow we recieved!

I'm with Spider, bring on the cold but nix the snow. I'm tired of plowing it and I have a new set of ice cleats!!

Im with you guys with the snow.
The plowing cut my icefishing tripps down to 8 last season..
The year before i did 23.

The snow and the cold don't really bother me . I like a good snowfall . School gets canceled so then I go ice fishing ! I've had some of my best days of ice fishing when they cancel school and I slammed it into 4wd and just putz to the lake and 90% of the time I'm the only one there . Plus donuts are always fun!

Yeah Kid, gettin out and playin in the snow is a ton of fun but it can be hard on us old folks tryin to pull a sled through a foot or 2 of the stuff. not to mention that a couple feet of snow can add a lot of weight on ice. If the ice is only half a foot thick it could add a whole new hazard when a big ol' boy walks out onto it.

I just heard that Joe Snedecker says it's gonna be a warm and mild winter so that pretty much nails it down for me. It'll be cold with a bunch of snow storms! He ain't never right!

Well, I guess we both get partial credit!    I got the wrong link, but heard on the radio that the report about to come out for this winter says cold and snowy!

Yeah, I just saw The Back Yard Man (Tom Clark) say the same thing! It'll probably be colder than last year now!

 Cold without the snow - I'm one of them old guys. Besides if it gets cold I don't have to drive North.

nope on the IF-247. I've been trying to get on all summer. FM has it locked down so he doesn't have to deal with spammers. I need ice.
