LAST TRIP FOR THE YAK
« on: September 20, 2015, 07:55:47 PM »

Me and birdman got out for the last time probably with the yaks tonite. We got out for 2hrs.With bow season next saturday and the smallie bite on Cannonsville and the river on sundays ,,I dought ill get back out with the yak.
no pics of Birdman, when he hits the lake ,he goes his own way.He said he managed 3 bass and about adozen pickerel.he was using crank baits. Was windy ,so my favorite lure for this lake was useless,i put on a white and Chart.Spinner bait.I caught at least 2 bass and 5 Pickerel on it.Then 40 minutes before dark the lake turned to glass.I tied on a Perch chugbug and in 4 cast I caught 4 bass, then at lest 2 more and a few pickerel.was a great nite.No slammer bass all 12" to maybe 15" but lots of fun.I did loose a slammer pickerel next to the yak.It had to be 25" or better.
