Ingredients :About 1 pounder of panfish fillets...cut into cubes3-4 strips of bacon...if desired 1 medium sized onion chopped 1 cup of celery chopped 2 cans of great northern beans or white navy 1 can of cornHalf teaspoon of garlic powder 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp ground pepper Salt...to taste 2 cans of chicken broth8 oz. Of sour cream Half cup of cream1 can of mild chilies if you want a lil kickSautee onion,celery and bacon Add chicken broth,corn,beans (drained and rinsed), seasonings, chilies (if desired )...bring to a simmer, add fish and cream, stir in sour cream. Low simmer for about 20 minutes and it's ready...yum
the Mrs wanted me to ask, is it heavy cream or light cream... she says it matters otherwise I woulda had it for dinner last night.
Oh darn, I bought the heavy cream! Since when can men follow directions anyway, I'll thin it with 2%?
