Is anyone interested in making a weekend trip out to Pine Creek in mid May? I've been doing it for years. All sorts of trout fishing opportunities.

This is where I stay. It is a private site boozing allowed a-holes are not. Hot showers, ice, firewood all available on site.

This is right in the middle of Big Pine Creek with two great smaller streams nearby, Slate Run and Cedar Run. You can google these to see what is what. Also there are dozens of little feeder cricks that are brookie infested. I stick to the Pine mostly but would like to try a little brookie crick I have been watching.

I will post my time frame soon. I can only do it when the planets align. I like to go on a Thursday evening or Friday morning. It is just over a two hour ride. You will be wanting to stop to fish for miles as the road in runs along the creek.

If that's the case I would leave on a Thursday and get to the group campsite on Sunday evening whey they are packing up

The Orvis Shop at the Slate Run store has been sponsoring that special stocking of trophy browns for as long as I have been going there. The section where they drop them is strictly C&R so they will be making lots of memories this year.
