I spoke to a gent last week that was heading south to Locust Lake, about an hour drive. Small 50+ acre put & take lake. Where ever you go it's gonna be cold.

I might help out the Nanticoke Conservation Club with their creek clean up.

I'm looking forward to taking Chez down to the Lehigh but that is still a few weeks off. HD you ought to join us it will be a weekday morning. I made.up some salties and have been picking up red worms when I rake leaves. Got lots of left over.waxies too. I'm all set.

If you're talkong about Rockport then yes it's a few weeks off. But I will be checking out the Lehigh in the White Haven area before next weekend.

nice! I was down in easton on Saturday to buy a fish finder from a guy and he was telling me about a "secret" spot I could fish in! Dang it I forgot to load my rods in the car!

He told me to put a boat at the bridge and it would produce bigtime..and it did.
I just wished he opened his shop before 7am.
some days he don't get there till 8,,cause the fish are bitting.lol.

a few of my friends were there Friday....
lotts of guys fishing.
13 trucks at the bridge,about the same at the rock.
the dam is still down17%...
everyone caught fish...

My ,crew got 11 between 4 guys, biggest being a skinny 21" and smallest a fat 15"..Go figure.
If its too cold Saturday,ill be there sunday,HOPEFULLY.
Its suppose to be in the mid 40s. $:-\$

Thanks chez! We don't do a lot of streamer fishing but when the water is running high it's pretty much your only option. It's productive when the water spills over the top of the dam cause it washes a lot of alewife's into the river and you can catch some really big fish on a streamer. Once in a while a bomb reservoir fish washes over and somebody gets lucky and hooks it. Right now the west branch is only running at 100 cfs which sucks.

The hole below the dam at Cannonsville,,THE WEIR HOLE,holds dome dandy BROWNS.I never got a huge one,but seen guys get them there.
I LUV TO GET UNDER THE FENCE,LOL.
SINCE 911 ,I THINK THEY WOULD SHOOT AND ASK QUESTIONS LATER.
The Rock Hole under the Bridge below the Weir Hole,,i lost my biggest brown of my Career there.broke off...i went back to #4lb leader,after that.no more 2lb..
I cant wait to hit it this year.
Basket brook is on my mind BIGTIME.
SO MUCH FISHING,SO LITTLE TIME.
