Birdman got out for gills last nite

He got about a dozen,,,A few good size for lunch

And a few for cat BAIT tonite.

He has been hitting them and some perch all week.
this front coming in ,is gunna push them back out.

Where I was fishing yesterday the gills were taking top water insects close the shore cover. with the cold temps coming it will take at least another week of warmer temps to bring them back in.

good job Birdman!! One of these summer days we gotta rig up them fly poles and we'll catch a mess of them things! On a warm summer evening a dry fly is irresistible to gills! Probably catch a few bass too.

I use flies on my spinning outfit alot of the times in the spring under a float...when the bite is hot hardly need bait the way

I use trout magnets the same way perchgypsy..
they work great also.

Birdman is the gill whisperer....end of story! I've seen some pics of some pretty good hauls of fish caught by that young man!

My son Matt took his girlfriends daughter fishing yesterdsy.
Smashed the gills.
Birdman showed up and met them,and left a bucket for me to vlean tonite.
The Gill Bite Is On.

Heres the Damage Birdman did last nite.
Left them for me to clean.lol.
I dont mind,i luv eating them.
And i got some heads from them for Catfish bait.
He got a few,Bulls Last nite.10" pluss.
Im gunna get out 1 nite this week.

If I left fish for my grandfather to clean I know who was able to eat them😊...he would have said thanks but that's about it...lol
nice mess of gills...I got into a bunch couple days ago ...all just under but every yr this happens ...decent ones first then the bigger ones start ...by the end of this week we will be on them...good work birdman
