Hit the Lehigh near the game lands and caught a few brookies, water is very low and the fish were spooked easily. Pretty much any shaded area was holding fish. The last pic is a honking crawfish that grabbed my jig ,was about 5 inches long.
Where were you fishing Fishfinder? In the Gouldsboro,Tobbyhanna Area???
Good job! That water looks nice for the tenkara rod. I have them flies for you just send me a pm want you want to meet up. HD's hammering them on the WF's and it's not even May yet.
I use to luv to fish that stretch by the gun range...all ,THREE species stocked there ,,also a few yellows.catch a lot of big creek chubs there also,,good catfish bait...
Will do bud. I tried the tenkara that day but the wind was relentless so I had a hard time with it...snagged a lot of branches and did a lot of cursing...so I opted for the spinning rod.there were quite a,few trout taking flies of the surface when the wind was calm. There's so much food in the water right now from that mild winter that they can be picky.
Chez, you're going on the Susky white fly hatch when it comes even if me & Rut have to drag your arse out there
