Well we made it to Cayuga Lake NY this weekend.
What a beautiful lake.
Weather was terrible.Changing skys every half hour.
Rain could and did happen at any time.Rain bows were in the sky everyday and a few times a day.
Water was an Emerald green blue color, very neet, never seen anything like it.There were duck blinds all over the lake .i posted a pic of one where a SeaGull claimed it,its own.
Fishing was slow, weather killed the bite, front after front blew threw all dsy long for the 3 days we were there, all the other fishermen had the same results.
The locals claimed the bass bite was off because,THE BASS WRRE MAKING A TRANSITION FROM WARM SHALLOW WATER TO THE DEEPER WATER..The water temp was between 78 and 80 deg.very warm
I did manage a dozen of bass or so,and a bunch of pickerel.
Nothing big.2lbers were not bitting.
All my fish were caught on spinnerbaits.there was no topwater bite what so ever.
there were water patrol everywhere.
kinda gave me the creeps for some reason.
It is a great lake.ill be back next year.
What turned out to be a Joke,The Law Dogs  Dont Understand!!!!
