Tomorrow is the Trout Opener for us up North.
Good Luck to all.
I Think the Stream Fishermen are gunna have a Rough Go Of it.
I think the trout that were stocked before the heavy rsin last week are gunna be held up in big pool areas down from where they were stocked.
Where i fish. A fridnd of mine was there early this week.
checking it out.
He was watching the trout being washed over the Dam Spill way down into the creek.
2 1/4 " of rain put the Dam over the fill mark.
Trout or no trout we will have a Great Time.
I seen some nice trout on PAODL.Being stocked at Moon.
I think  yak trip may be in Order this comming Week.

I wanted to start a new topic with this but for some reason can't find where to click to do that.  Anyway, kind of slow with the reports I've noticed, fish are biting, hopefully our members can post a bit more.

Was up merli sarnoski for the opener, about the usual opening day crowd, trout were hitting anything people threw at them. Took an older gentleman with me in his boat, we only fished 45 minutes, throwing lures, we got about 20, finally kept our 5 and headed out. One 16" rainbow, all others 10"-12" brook trout.   Good Luck

I hit a stretch of the Lehigh River today for a couple hours, only hooked 2, one decent brown on a dry fly.  Wind was turrible

It was a Blood Bath Saturday.
I only caught 2 in the dam..
They all got washed down the Creek .
My boys hit the creek early.then we followed.
Had a great time as usual.!!!!!!!!
Bubba and Bill Showed up.
They couldnt keep us in FireBall.lol.
Lots of fun...

Chez, thxs for the friendly offer to join up. At the last minute I headed to Moon lake just to observe and see what that park was like. It was packed, lol. Very few fish were caught while I was there and most were small. FT
