Found a good one today.  Hope to see this guy in the fall if he made it through winter.  Next task is to find the other side.

I certainly don't care if you pick up sheds. I'd do the same if if came across it. But, isn't it illegal to do? HD and I stumbled upon a nice 8 pointer dead two years ago.only dead for a few days, if that. I mentioned going back foe the horns and was warned off the idea.

I don't think you can cut the horns off a dead
deer but if they fall off and there laying on the ground
that's perfectly legal 8)

To be honest with you I don't know if it is legal or not.  I know there are a lot of people into it in recent years and a lot of articles in magazines about it.  Now is the time of year yo find them now that the snow is basically gone.  Good luck if you looking!

Tuff guys like us... Lol.  Priceless.   Just think durk, if the PGC starts busting people for picking up pieces of bone in the woods they might be able to afford to give us $1 off our hunting licenses next year.  ::)

NOT ILLEGAL ;D YOU CANNOT CUT THEM OFF A DEAD ONE THOUGH AS DURK MENTIONED. SOME PEOPLE USE CHICKEN WIRE IN LATE WINTER AND PUT BAIT OR CORN AT THE BASE SO WHEN THEY TRY TO EAT THEIR ANTLERS WILL GET CAUGHT UP IN THE WIRE AND FALL OFF. THIS I DONT KNOW IF ITS LEGAL IN THIS STATE THOUGH.

I dont know if its legal but it would probably be safer then trying to cut them off a live one.  8)
