nice HD! I just found a nice stream rod in my basement, my son musta missed it ;) It's a custom 7' 5wt rod. It would be good for small streams like that. Now I just gotta see if I can't find an extra reel laying around ::)

I must have 15 reels, no joking, it's too bad you're not closer, I have a ton stuff that should be gotten rid of that you might be able to use

ff,  they have the past few seasons, we sent some complaints a few years back after they "bridge stocked" the stretch, and magically the next year they floated it and distributed the trouts nicely.

Most of the float stocking is the work of the Nanticoke Conservation Club.  I've spoken with a few members I met along the stream.  It's difficult work considering all the blow downs and obstructions.  They've had to portage their apparatus multiple times around all kinds of fallen logs and such.

I forgot to add in the original post that I'd seen a mink and a heron while walking back, they must be enjoying the buffet.   :o

Wow. Must have been a real burden this year with all ice that was probably still on the crick.
