Has anyone ever mounted there
flasher on there boat for pan fishin
just wondered how it works or if it's
like ice fishin off a boat   (thanks)  8)

I saw a picture once ofva guy who had built a raised up hole in a boat to mimic an ice hole and them dropped his ducer down there and was jigging away.  I don't recommend drillingbholes in your boar but it was pretty nifty.

I use my vexilar all the time on soft water. I made a portable mount for the transducer. Works fine. To keep constant contact with your jig you really need to anchor securely.

Thanks I think I'm gonna try it
they sell a transducer for electric motor
did not know about anchoring the boat
