I was just about 15 when this song was released by Mountain. It was written by Jack Bruce, bassist for Cream, who passed less than a year ago. Eric Clapton wasn't interested in it so Cream's producer Felix Pappalardi, (also passed) took it to his band Mountain and it has been one of my all time favorites ever since. Such a melancholy tune gives me goose bumps to hear to this day. This version is my favorite of the dozens on Youtube.
