streamers and buggers
« on: April 13, 2015, 10:39:23 PM »
Hit a stretch for 2 hours this evening and water was flowing

I landed 3 nice browns but missed another 20, the fish were chasing buggers stripped and swung in the current

Thanks guys, those browns were strong & fiesty, maybe the higher flows are responsible for that, they fought like Lehigh River trout

The best fighting trout,i have found so far in my 52 years, are in the DELAWERE.Nothing fights like a 22" or better RAINBOW in the BIG D.I find myself running down stream Chaseing them to keep up with them when hooked.
The browns are great fighters also but,in my EXPERIANCE they seem to run up the river when hooked, more than down stream. The BOWS luv to jump also ,the browns seem to head for bottom.
I think everyone should experience a trout trip to the BIG D.Its not as good as it was years ago,but it holds lots of trophy trout.
I don't like to brag but,my best to date Bow came out of the BIG D,i have posted pic before,a hair under 7 1/2lb. 26 1/4"on corn.
WHAT A FIGHT.

That is a BIG bow chez.  And you got it on corn, just my style.  I definitely want to spend some time on the big D this year.
